Christmas is more than a day-it's a Christian season that lasts 12 days. It starts with Christmas Day and ends with Epiphany (the coming of the Magi on January 6th).
If we were following the song, The 12 Days of Christmas, your true love would be giving you 4 callling birds. In older versions this was 4 colling birds which refers to blackbirds or canaries. In Henry the 8th's time most of the days involve gifts to the king, but this song hadn't been written yet. However the 12 days of Christmas were observed. During Tudor times (Henry was a Tudor) the 4th day of Christmas was Childermass recognizing the slaughter of innocents by King Herod. So the English observed that by whipping their kids so they would recognize the suffering the day represented then the rest of the day they were celebrated. So if you are a kid you wouldn't have liked the start of the day. If you come to this event they'll be no whipping as this doesn't start until noon.
This event is at The Yard with plenty of food trucks. Meet for some Christmas cheer and some geo chat. You might want to share your most exciting geocaching experiences of the year.
