Let’s celebrate the shortest day of the year – or the longest night of the year – together as we welcome in winter on this Winter Solstice. If you haven’t received it already, you can earn the December Solstice souvenir by attending this event.
If you’re like us, you probably have an extra container or two (or more!) waiting to be placed for a new cache or to repair/replace a broken one you find along the way. We’re not big “gift exchange” people, but we’re always ready and willing to offer or share a container if someone needs one.
So, we’re adding a twist to this event – bring a container to share with your caching friends. It can be anything you’d like to “exchange” for something different; a way to clear off that shelf full of containers you’re not sure you’ll use but just can’t throw/recycle it away; or maybe you don’t
have an extra and need to pick up something for a fall back when necessary. It doesn’t have to be special! It can be as simple as an extra pill bottle or if you’re creative, show us “your stuff”! We’ll place them all on a table and hold a drawing for choosing who gets which one.
No problem if you don’t have an extra container or you forget about it on your way out the door. Your hosts will provide extras so no one leaves empty handed! Come for the fun, the chats, and a chance to get together before the holiday season is upon us.
