What better way to celebrate National Sangria Day than in a beautifully swampy spot along the Pithlachascotee River?!?
Hey, get ready! Every December 20th is National Sangria Day! We're talking about a super versatile, fruity punch made with bottled cheer, fresh fruit, and fruit juices. You can jazz it up with all sorts of things like herbs, spices, and bubbles.
And it goes perfectly with the hot dogs and other tasty treats that will be consumed. As always, we are counting on the Rats™🐀 attending to provide an assortment of refreshments.
The event will start at 12:30pm and last for approximately one hour-ish.
The hike in and out will be several miles, mostly off trail along the lovely Pithlachascotee River. Be in a "wet-and-muddy-feet" mindset and come prepared with proper attire, shoes, bug spray, water and provisions. More information will be shared about the guided hike.
