This cache is on The Huntsville Land Trust, Monte Sano Preserve. Maps can be found at www.briartech.com .
It is locacted on the Waterline Trail, but is accessible fairly easily from several other trails in the area. If you use the cheat the difficulty will change to a one.
We placed this cache while on a cache hike to get four other cahes in the general area. The cache is located fairly close to the Three Caves Loop Trail.
NOTE: It`s probably not waterproof so when replacing the cache please be sure the lid is on and it is as upright as possible.
NOTE: If you take children on this hike please keep a tight rein on them. We had four with us ranging from age six to age twelve, so it is possible to take the kids along.
Depending on which trail you use and where you park the terrain difficulty and the length of the hike will change. It can range from 1.26 miles (one way) to well who knows (there are trails every where in this area so you can hike all day if you like. We hiked about four miles total round trip the day we place this cache.
