EVENT BEGINS AT 1:30 PM
Greetings Geofriends,
I had such a good time combining geocaching and movies, two of my favorite things, at my GIFF event last year that I decided to recreate it as a semi-quasi-regular happening. We will be gathering in the meeting room of the Main Branch of New Braunfels Public Library to screen the best of the GIFF reels from 2013 through 2015, given that only a select few of the submissions from those years are readily available to us online. Feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks. The combined highlight reel from those years is approximately 45 minutes long. The event will start at 1:30PM and we will roll the reel at 1:45PM. We have use of the meeting room until 3:30 PM to solve puzzles and discuss our recent finds and all of the other ridiculous cacher nonsense we like to conjure. I’d like to make this event a series, not only with reels from previous GIFFs but also with films that feature geocaching. I have a list started and have at least enough titles and GIFF reels to fill two years of semi-quasi-regular happenings. If you have any titles in mind that you’d like to suggest, please let me know. And of course if you haven't found my world-famous geocache in this library, Ghosts in the Stacks GCBDQNR, it is still active waiting to be found
