I have traveled this road a few times over the years, and have passed by this small pond. What is considered a pond? The general term for a small body of still water, which can refer to a naturally occurring small pond, a stream pool, or even a man-made feature. You can decide. I have placed this small bison tube between the parking (there is room to park near the cache) and the pond in one of the many Hemlock trees that love this type of water source. The parking is located on a sharp curve that not very busy, and you can see both ways when pulling in and out of this spot. After finding the cache take some time and appreciate nature as you see it.
