Qi'ao Island is centered around the "Qi'ao Tin Hau Temple," which, in addition to worshipping Mazu (the Goddess of the Sea), also enshrines Fu De Zheng Shen. Furthermore, several small "Earth God Temples" are scattered throughout the island, where Qi'ao residents worship and pray for peace.
Fu Zheng Shen, commonly known as the Earth God, is a deity in folk religion who governs the land and protects the local area. He is considered a local guardian deity and a god of wealth. His image is typically that of a kind elderly man, and he is widely worshipped throughout the island, making him one of the most prevalent deities in the Chinese-speaking world.
In a side alley of White Stone Street, after paying my respects to the God of Fortune, I hid a cacne among the stone slabs in front of Him. I believe this cache will be blessed, and at the same time, it will bless the geocachers with good health and a pleasant journey.
淇澳島以「淇澳天后宮」為當地重要信仰中心，宮內除了祭祀天后媽祖外，也奉祀福德正神。此外，島上還有一些小型的「土地公廟」分散在各個角落，提供居民膜拜，祈求平安。
福德正神，俗稱土地公，是民間信仰中掌管土地、守護地方的神明，被視為地方保護神與財神。其形象通常為慈祥的老者，並在各地廣泛供奉，是華人世界中最普遍的神祇之一。
在白石街的橫巷裏，向福德正神致敬意後我在示祂前面的石板間藏了一個寶盒，相信這寶盒將會受到保佑，也同時保佑尋寶者身體健康，旅途愉快。
