Ladies and gentlemen I present the 7th New Year's Eve breakfast event from 09:30 to 10:30 at the Bransty Arch, Bransty Row, Whitehaven, CA28 7XE. As usual I'll aim for the large round table at the far right corner of the pub when looking from the bar. Anyone mad enough to take part in the annual New Year's Eve dip at the Golden Sands (10:00 for 10:30) is welcome to drop in beforehand!
There are several chargeable car parks around the town plus the supermarket opposite has a 2 hour limit. If travelling by rail from the Barrow direction please be aware that the Bransty tunnel is closed for long term engineering works so trains terminate at Corkicle with rail replacement buses to Whitehaven or just under a mile to walk.
Everyone is welcome from brand new cachers to old hands in order to chat about all things caching, swap trackables etc. There's the usual end of year souvenir available plus a Treasure from the Celebrating GIFF collection if anyone is keeping an eye on them. I hope to see you there,
