WHY - Again, didn't you read the cache title?
**** Exchange participation is optional. Be sure to stop by for some Christmas cheer even if you do not join in on the exchange. ****
**** Food is available from multiple establishments in the court, No Purchase neccesary to attend the event! ****
Rules if participating in the exchange:
1. What you need to do before you arrive at the event.
a. Put together a cache that you can hide . This cache can be swag items, gift cards, geocachings items, or just about anything you can think of as a gift to another cacher. It does not need to be geocaching related. There is no value limit. Just have fun with it.
b. Hide the cache for the cacher to find as their gift from you somewhere within a reasonable distance (0-5 miles) from the event. Do not post this hide on the geocaching website, it is only for a single use. Do this the day before, or the morning of, the event.
c. Write down the coordinates of your cache on a log sheet, your name, and contact information and put it inside a bison tube/micro container that you will bring with you to the event. This way if the cacher needs to contact you for some helpful hints they can.
2. Come to the event with your bison tube/micro container with the coordinates & contact information listed inside.
a. I will collect all of the containers and put them into a hat for each cacher to pick from.
b. Talk and mingle with the other cachers until we start drawing containers.
c. Pick a container that is not your own, open up the container, get the coords to your hidden Christmas surprise and off on your caching adventure you go.
d. Once you find the hidden cache you picked, open it and see what goodies you got.
3. Enjoy the gift and Merry Christmas.
