See peidik asub veehoidla lähedal, mis rajati osana suurest energeetikaprojektist — GRES-i ehk piirkondliku elektrijaama ehitamisest. Jaam vajas suurt ja töökindlat veehoidlat, mis tagaks jahutusvee, stabiilse veetaseme ning kaitseks ümbruskonda jõe kõikumiste eest.
Ehitustööd olid hiiglaslikud: tohutud kaevetööd, kümned tuhanded tonnid pinnast, nullist ehitatud tamm, kindlustatud kaldad ning keeruline kanalite ja lüüside süsteem. Samal ajal kasvas ka GRES ise — üks regiooni tähtsamaid tööstusrajatisi, mis varustas elektriga paljusid asulaid.
Täna on siin vaikus, ning raske on ette kujutada, kui mastaapne ja lärmakas see ehitus omal ajal oli. Loodus on end taastanud, kuid inseneritöö jäljed on alles — ning nende keskel peitub sinu peidik.

This cache is located near a reservoir that was built as part of a major energy project — the construction of a regional power plant (GRES). The power plant required a large and reliable reservoir to supply cooling water, maintain a stable water level, and protect the surrounding areas from river fluctuations.
The construction was immense: massive excavation work, thousands of tons of soil removed, a dam built from the ground up, reinforced shorelines, and a complex system of channels and sluices. At the same time, the GRES itself was rising — one of the region’s key industrial facilities, supplying electricity to many nearby settlements.
Today the area is quiet, and it’s hard to imagine how loud and intense the construction once was. Nature has softened the landscape, but the traces of engineering remain — and within them lies your cache.

Этот тайник расположен рядом с водохранилищем, которое строилось как часть масштабного энергетического проекта — создания ГРЭС. Для работы электростанции требовалось большое и надёжное водохранилище, обеспечивающее охлаждение оборудования, стабильный уровень воды и защиту территории от перепадов уровня рек.
Стройка была грандиозной: гигантские котлованы, тысячи тонн вынутого грунта, возведение плотины, укрепление берегов и строительство сложной системы каналов и шлюзов. Одновременно с этим росла и сама ГРЭС — один из важнейших промышленных объектов региона, дающий энергию десяткам населённых пунктов.
Сегодня здесь царит спокойствие, и сложно представить, какой масштабной и шумной была эта стройка. Природа постепенно вернула себе тишину, но следы инженерной мысли остались — и среди них скрывается ваш тайник.
