Geocache Description:


This is part of a 22 cache river series.
You will need about 3 hours to complete.
You will get wet. You might get dirty and a little slimy.
You will need a wash afterwards.

Cache is a green preform on stump near right bank. You should not need to exit your craft.




You will need to supply your own land transportation and water vessel. There is only 1 entry and 1 exit point along this 5 mile stretch of river. They are included as waypoints. There are no places to abort and 4 bridges with no access to the river. There is no nearby unofficial street street access.

Do NOT attempt alone, especially beginners or novices. Use the buddy system. This section of the Arkansas river is overall shallow, less than 3 feet, 1 meter, but does have a slow current with deeper pockets and hazards.

Inflatables are highly discouraged! The river can be very shallow. You most likely will drag in some places and then have a long walk out. The river collects destroyed inflatables.

Do NOT do anything you are not comfortable with. You are responsible for you.

There is a kiosk at the parking area near the entry point to inform you of all rules and laws.
