Geocache Description:

We are a couple of geocachers from France, coming for the second time to South Africa. We would like to meet the geocachers around, locals or tourists.

We propose to meet you at the listed coordinates on Thursday, the 5th of February at 11:00 am to chat about our hobby. The logbook (signing it is optional, of course) be there till 11:30 am, maybe a bit longer.

Nobel Square is a public square in the Victoria and Albert waterfront neighborhood. It opened in December 2005 and includes sculptures of the country's four Nobel Peace Prize winners, Albert LutuliDesmond TutuF. W. de Klerk, and Nelson Mandela. The statues, slightly taller than the four people depicted, are arranged in a semicircle with their backs to Table Mountain. Quotes of each figure are inscribed on the ground in front of them. A fifth sculpture, entitled "Peace and Democracy," represents the role of women and children in the anti-apartheid movement. All four sculptures are  bronze and stand on a granite surface.
