I've taught, worked and lived with so many people with a variety of accessibility needs, so I think of them (helplessly) whenever I fail to check off the wheelchair accessible attribute on a new cache. It's a downer to realize how much fun in geocaching literally requires inaccessibility, and I have no good solutions.
This is all just to acknowledge the irony in this cache. It is wheelchair accessible, but only if you don't park in all the wheelchair accessible slots at GZ. It's also counts as a park-and-grab, but obviously don't park right at GZ unless you have the right documentation. And stealth is a must...is that harder or in some ways easier if you're using a mobility aid?
While it will be relatively easy for the abled to access the cache, that doesn't mean they can access its contents. Feel free to temporarily remove the cache to a seat inside a car or nearby building so that you can take your time. The log and any tiny swag has hopefully been left in its ziplock so that no loose components can jam up the mechanism. Regardless, please be gentle and don't force any movements. And, obviously, be sure to reset everything by ensuring that the cache is fully closed and back at starting co-ordinates. (In other words, how you found the cache may not be what was intended, depending on a previous cacher's haste or confusion.) Bring your own pencil.
Dedicated to my former student QZ, who I have not been in touch with for a long time, but who I imagine would take on every accessible cache they could find, and plenty an inaccessible cache, too.
