Welcome back to West Seattle! We’ve now entered the Big Dark, the colorful autumn leaves are all fallen, and the final Community Celebration Events to celebrate this 25th year of Geocaching are wrapping up soon. So, what to do now but place and find as many geocaches as we can fit into the short amount of daylight we have. Accordingly, here is a new batch of West Seattle “Needful Things” caches. These wordy titles are designed especially to help geocachers who might be obsessed with a now-grandfathered word challenge. Here, in addition to your Smiley, seven words in this title could be useful towards the Additional Logging Requirements (ALR) on eleven word challenge types. Refer to the linked “Needful Things” bookmark list for other titles in the series and to see which challenge types that these words meet.
The waypoint coordinates will take you to the Geo-Slice sculpture (also the site of earth cache GC1ZTXN), where you will find the information needed to calculate the coordinates for the final, which is hidden at N 47° 33.ABC′ W 122° 21.DEF.
