Saw this spot on the map and thought, “Hmmm… now that there is one weird lookin’ place.” 🗺️🤠
It’s sittin’ in Oklahoma, but Texas is wrappin’ around it on two dang sides like it’s makin’ an OK sandwich. 😂🥪🇺🇸
Figured if any spot screams “Put a cache here,” this was it.
So I headed out, bounced down some backroads 🚙💨, dodged a few potholes big enough to swallow a calf 🐄😳, and made my way to GZ.
Today was perfect — dry feet, clear skies, and no critters throwin' shade. 🌤️🦌
But depending on the time of year, you might be wadin’ across water like you’re tryin’ out for Survivor: Texoma Edition. 🛶💦😅
And it’s rocky. REAL rocky. 🪨⚠️
Loose rocks, ankle busters, knee knockers — a whole buffet of “step carefully or yeet yourself into next week.” 👣😂
Once I found the exact spot, the host stood there plain as day like:
“Put the cache right here, cowboy.” 👀🌳
So I did. The cache is tucked safely inside the host with some natural camouflage — the same stuff you’ve been steppin’ on since you got outta the truck. 🍂🪨
This ain’t a park-and-grab.
You’re gonna earn your D/T stars today ⭐💪
Boots dirty 👢, maybe socks wet 🧦💦, pride tested 😬, story made 📖🔥.
But hey… that’s geocaching on the Texoma border, where things get a little wild, a little confusing, and a whole lotta fun.
Good luck, stay upright, and happy huntin’! 🤠📍🔍🪨🔥
