La chace fa parte della serie ArteinGioco. Una gara di stili!, progetto che mira a promuovere i temi valoriali del gioco, unendo cultura, sociale e sport, attraverso la proposta di esperienze che mettano alla prova mente e corpo delle/i partecipanti.
Nel cuore di Milano, tra via Gesù e via Santo Spirito, si trova il Museo Bagatti Valsecchi, una dimora che conserva intatto il fascino di una storia familiare trasformata in patrimonio condiviso. La casa, progettata e reinventata alla fine dell’Ottocento dai fratelli Fausto e Giuseppe Bagatti Valsecchi, nasce come un omaggio appassionato al Rinascimento lombardo, ricreato con attenzione filologica nelle forme, nei materiali e nei dettagli architettonici.
L’eleganza del Cinquecento convive qui con lo spirito innovatore degli ultimi decenni del XIX secolo: nei saloni si ritrovano le suggestioni delle antiche dimore rinascimentali, illuminate però dalla luce elettrica, riscaldate da moderni impianti e dotate di acqua corrente, segni tangibili di una Milano in trasformazione. Ogni stanza racconta la visione dei due fratelli, collezionisti colti e curiosi, che scelsero dipinti, arredi e oggetti d’arte applicata seguendo un gusto rigoroso e al tempo stesso contemporaneo. Tra le opere più preziose spiccano la Santa Giustina di Giovanni Bellini e il polittico con la Madonna col Bambino tra i Santi di Giampietrino, testimonianza del profondo legame tra la raccolta e l’eredità leonardesca.
Con la nascita della Fondazione Bagatti Valsecchi nel 1974, la casa è divenuta luogo aperto alla città e, dal 1994, accoglie i visitatori come una delle più affascinanti Case Museo d’Europa. Entrarvi significa avvicinarsi a un progetto culturale che ha saputo conservare e trasmettere la memoria di una famiglia e della sua visione, mantenendo vivo il dialogo tra passato e presente nel centro di Milano.
I cortili della dimora, accessibili liberamente da lunedì a domenica, dalle 9.00 alle 24.00, offrono uno spazio di quiete nel tessuto della città, mentre il museo è aperto secondo i seguenti orari: mercoledì dalle 13.00 alle 20.00; giovedì e venerdì dalle 13.00 alle 17.45; sabato e domenica dalle 10.00 alle 17.45.

Located in the heart of Milan, between Via Gesù and Via Santo Spirito, stands the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum, a historic residence that preserves the intact charm of a family history transformed into a shared heritage. The house, designed and reinvented in the late nineteenth century by the brothers Fausto and Giuseppe Bagatti Valsecchi, originated as a passionate tribute to the Lombard Renaissance, faithfully recreated in its forms, materials, and architectural details.
The elegance of the 16th century coexists here with the innovative spirit of the final decades of the 19th century. The main halls evoke the atmosphere of ancient Renaissance dwellings, yet they are illuminated by electric light, heated by modern systems, and equipped with running water—tangible signs of a Milan undergoing transformation. Every room narrates the vision of the two brothers, who were cultivated and curious collectors. They carefully selected paintings, furnishings, and applied art objects, adhering to a taste that was rigorous yet distinctly contemporary.
Among the most prized works are Giovanni Bellini’s Saint Justina and the polyptych Madonna with Child and Saints by Giampietrino, testifying to the deep connection between the collection and the Leonardesque legacy.
With the establishment of the Bagatti Valsecchi Foundation in 1974, the house became a place open to the city. Since 1994, it has welcomed visitors as one of Europe's most captivating House Museums. Entering the museum means engaging with a cultural project that has successfully preserved and transmitted the memory of a family and its vision, keeping the dialogue between past and present alive in the center of Milan.
The residence's courtyards, freely accessible from Monday to Sunday, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 AM (midnight), offer a peaceful space within the city fabric. The museum is open during the following hours: Wednesday from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM; Thursday and Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:45 PM; Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:45 PM.
