Congratulations! If you've made it this far, you have driven/walked right across the industrial area in Duisburg-Kaßlerfeld. Together with the district of Duisburg-Neuenkamp, Duisburg-Kaßlerfeld forms a "peninsula." Separated by the A40 motorway, the industrial area is located in Kaßlerfeld while the residential area is in Neuenkamp. However, on the way, you may have already seen that there are even a few residential buildings in this industrial area.
Both districts are surrounded by the Rhine and the Ruhr rivers, which creates the feeling of a peninsula. Directly behind the industrial area are huge green spaces right by the water and the "Rheinorange" sculpture. Definitely worth a walk! You can also pick up my other caches while you're at it ;)
