Chenango Valley State Park is home to two kettle lakes and is adjacent to the
Chenango River providing a beautiful scenic background for outdoor fun. In the summer
visitors can enjoy the beach, boating, fishing, golf, hiking, picnicking and camping. Winter
activities can include hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, sledding and of course
geocaching.
The boat launch ambler/scramble pair includes one not so challenging cache find and more
challenging cache find in the same vicinity to meet all skill level of cachers. Please keep in mind
the difficulty/terrain of the individual caches and read the description carefully not to get
frustrated.
This cache may be a challenge for some cachers. Be sure to watch for downed branches and
trees on or near the trail and bring a long TOTT. Please replaced as found so others can enjoy
the fun challenge.
