Frozen Waterfalls - Eagle River Falls
Located in Keweenaw County, Eagle River Falls transforms into a stunning winter scene with impressive ice formations, often creating frozen cascades and even an ice cave. It is easily viewed from a roadside pedestrian bridge in downtown Eagle River, making it a popular winter destination. The falls have a height of 40 feet with a 10-60 foot crest, with a large sliding drop down a concave bowl of bedrock.
