Cold Cache Crew 2026 presents...
Frozen Waterfalls - Scott Falls

Located in Alger County, Scott Falls' 10 feet is small compared to other waterfalls in the UP, but its accessibility makes it worthwhile, being a quick stop off of M-28. The water falls over a large rock that looks like a cave, and in the winter it transforms into a stunning winter wonderland, becoming an "icy masterpiece" with water running through ice formations. It forms a mini ice cave behind the falls that you can explore, with beautiful hues of copper, brown, and blue; enhanced by snow.
The Cache
Welcome to Pickerel Lake Park where you can enjoy hiking, fishing, and caching. Sadly no dogs. Park is open year round from 7am to 7pm.
