Geocache Description:

As Christmas comes closer, Santa Claus has fallen ill, and will not be able to do his test flights with the new and improved GPS software. Their new invention is a GPS software that can track you no matter if you are home or away.

At the North Pole, Tinsel was once again put in charge to commence testing the new GPS hardware and software.  Tinsel decided to enlist the inverter of the system to Mr. Merry Chip.  Mr Merry Chip is a tech genius elf responsible for classified North Pole technology.  They worked together to enlist Flying Elves to volunteer for this risky mission, as there had been no test flights, and there was a possibility of getting lost or crashing while in flight.

Extensive testing is still needed, so Tinsel sent out a text to all available elves, who wanted to test the big sled. But with the short time till Christmas, and the need for to get Santa better, many of the worker and flying elves were busy in the many areas of the hospital, workshop, kitchen, and in developing new technology. So Tinsel had to do something not ever thought of. He invoked the emergency clause, which allows him to ask the Jr elves, and elves in training if they wanted volunteer for this risky flight test.

At first, Tinsel got no replies. He was getting discouraged, as they needed this new and improved GPS hardware and software to work, and done soon. He was about to go tell Santa that their new invention may have to scrapped, and kids not at home will be once again be forgotten.

But at the last minute, 2 shy and bumbling elves said they would do the job. Their only condition is if they can use the Geocaching community to help find them if lost. They knew it would be a break of the Elves and Santa secrecy policies, but they knew if anyone could find them, it would be a geocacher.

Santa, Tinsel and Mr. Merry Chip discussed the dangers of allowing anyone knowing of the mission, and the dangers of his sleigh falling into the wrong hands, but they all agreed that they needed people that could find a micro container in a pile of rocks, and that have a secrecy of not being seen as out of place, or telling others what they saw. And that is the definition of a geocacher.

Tinsel and Mr. Merry Chip decided that the test Captain would be Jr Twinkle Light, and his Navigator would Jr Snowball.  Jr Reindeer slow flight, and his friends would pull the sleigh.

Santa and Mr. Merry Chip decided that a test of their possible recovery plan if needed. So using the old Geocaching GPS technology, they have placed a small container to see if it is true, that it can be found, and no pictures would be shared.

So here is what Santa wants done. Sign the log, and keep the location secret, and he can look at the online list if a recovery plan is needed. Good Luck. And Merry Christmas.
