Welcome to First Thursdays in Columbia (FTIC)—even though its winter we will be meeting in the little outdoor seating area between the parking garage and Whole Foods because the Mall is closing at 6:00 PM and Whole Foods is closing at 7:00 PM. Dress warmly and in the case of truly inclement weather, we will gather under cover of the parking garage.
This is a monthly event on the first Thursday of every month in Columbia, Maryland. Everyone is welcome! If you are new to the game, please come. We would love to meet you.
We've been sharing caching stories together at this event since June 2017. We use this event to meet fellow cachers, plan trips, recommend caches, give tips, and just enjoy each other's company. This month, we will be meeting on New Year's Day, Thursday, January 1, 2026, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
Be ready to discuss whether you achieved your 2025 geocaching goals and what your expectations are for 2026. A raffle will highlight our New Year's celebration.
