Great Western Park GeoCache Series
After our recently placed GeoCache Series at Great Western Park (GWP) (cache #1-11, 14, 17-19), central Didcot (cache #12-13, 15-16, 20-25, 29), Harwell Campus (cache #26), and Chilton (cache #27-28), we decide to place a few more caches in other parts of Didcot and surrounding villages, in order to honour local heros, and to reflect our rich local history, stories and heritage. We hope you will enjoy these new caches and may also learn something when you are caching, thank you!
Great Western Park #30 - GWP Southern Community Centre (Officially known as Village Hall series 1774 - GWP Southern Community Centre)

The Southern Community Centre has a large main hall and two meeting rooms available for hire from 9am to 9pm daily, this venue is being used for community events and club meetings, exercise classes, children's parties and meetings large or small.
About this multi-cache:
This is our 8th multi-cache, and any comments and suggestions are welcome.
We often visit this community centre for birthday parties and events, and have had many good memories here.
At the published coordinates, you will find the main entrance door to this community centre. Near the bottom of the door there is a white sticker with the security company's information on it. Their telephone number is 01865 ABC DEF, and their mobile number is 0770 998 GHJK.
Now look left, and you will find several bicycle racks. The total number of the U-shape bike racks is LM.
The final coordinates are a short distance away at:
N51 35. ( B + F - C ) ( A - C ) ( K / H )
W001 16. ( D + G - J ) ( D - C ) ( L - M )
The checksum of all the digits in the final coordinates is 45.
Please also note:
Please bring your own pen, and open & close the cache lid carefully so the cache and log book can survive longer. You might need a tweezer to help retrieve the log paper.
Please also replace exactly as found due to obvious reason, and please be careful with the possible thorns, stinging nettles, and overhead tree branches! Long sleeves, trousers, and gloves are recommended.
You do not need to cross any fence or enter any private land.
Thank you and enjoy GeoCaching!
FTF: Congratulations to Lmw1980 for their FTF on 11 December 2025!
