Za razliko od Tromostovja, kjer je vsak dan v letu prisotna truma turistov, je "Štirimostovje" čisto nasprotje le-tega. Turistov tu ni videti, le kakšnega lokalca, ki ubere bližnjico do naselja na jugu Tržaške ceste oziroma Dolgega mosta, kakor se ta predel imenuje.
Zakaj Štirimostovje? Tu na treh vpadnicah iz zahodne strani poteka promet preko mostov nad Malim grabnom proti prestolnici (železnica, Tržaška cesta in kolesarska/peš brv). Avtocestni obroč prečka Mali graben malo zahodneje. Je pa s kolesarske brvi lep razgled na vse štiri mostove, ob lepem vremenu pa tudi proti Kamniško-Savinjskim Alpam.

Unlike Tromostovje, where there are hordes of tourists every day of the year, "Štirimostovje/Four bridges" is the complete opposite. There are no tourists to be seen here, only the occasional local taking a shortcut to the settlement to the south of the Tržaška cesta or Dolgi most, as this area is called.
Why Štirimostovje/Four bridges? Here, on three access roads from the west, traffic passes over the bridges over the Mali Graben towards the capital (railway, Tržaška cesta and bicycle/pedestrian footbridge). The motorway ring road crosses the Mali graben a little further west. However, the bicycle footbridge offers a nice view of all four bridges, and in good weather, also towards the Kamnik-Savinja Alps.
