Welcome to the Brazos Valley!
This challenge is dedicated to the geocachers who have explored the diverse landscapes, backroads, and hidden corners of the Brazos Valley region of Texas.
To log a find on this cache, you must complete the requirements below. Once qualified, you must locate the physical cache and sign the logbook to claim your find.
Challenge Requirements
To qualify for this challenge and earn your place among the region’s dedicated explorers, you must have found a total of 14 qualifying geocaches by meeting the following criteria:
In EACH of the following seven (7) Brazos Valley counties, you must have found:
- One (1) Traditional Cache
- One (1) “Other” Cache Type: Mystery/Unknown, Multi-Cache, Letterbox Hybrid, Virtual, EarthCache, or Wherigo
The Seven Qualifying Counties:
- Brazos
- Burleson
- Robertson
- Grimes
- Washington
- Madison
- Leon
Verification & Rules
Location & Logging:
- The final cache container is located at the posted coordinates.
- You may sign the physical log at any time, but you may only log the cache online after the Project-GC checker confirms you qualify.
Qualifying Finds:
- Past finds count — any qualifying caches already found apply.
- Excluded cache types: Adventure Labs, Event Caches, and CITO Caches do not count toward this challenge.
- FTF Awards will be given at a later time!
