Welcome to Daufuskie Island,
where you'll need a floating craft of some sort to get here.
Our caches are terrain 5 but are more like a 1-1/2.
This is part of an historic trail.
History abounds on Daufuskie. Tabby is a building material made from a mixture of ground oyster shells, sand, shells, and water. This was used extensively for buildings on Daufuskie. You'll find them throughout the Lowcountry. Some of the finest examples are in Haig Point, but here in Daufuskie's Historic District you'll find a worthy specimen!
