Most people can name a few of Santa’s reindeer… and then there’s Russi. Everyone knows the famous fliers, but tucked quietly among Santa’s team is Russi, the reindeer who never made the spotlight. While the others trained for speed and aerial acrobatics, Russi was far more interested in looking after the North Pole itself.
He became known as the workshop’s environmentalist—always nudging the elves to recycle wrapping paper, reduce waste in toy production, and make sure the sleigh’s flight path didn’t disturb migrating wildlife. Santa often joked that if there was a way to be “eco-friendly at 30,000 feet,” Russi would find it.
His knack for noticing small details and appreciating the hidden corners of the world made him invaluable on quiet missions. If something needed to be tucked away neatly and responsibly, Russi was the one they trusted to place it just right.
