At the 2025 BAMARAMA MEGA Event, there was a contest to make a board game inspired puzzle cache. This CLUE container (GADGET) won second place at that contest. During the judging of the contest the release mechanism failed. This cache was to be exchanged with another cache, but since the cache was not working correctly, the container was taken back to be worked on. Over that last several months, the device was removed and reinstalled in several attempts to get it to work correctly. Finally the mechanics were adjusted and the device is working.

Clue is a murder mystery game with a goal of being the first to determine who murdered the game’s host, where the crime took place, and which weapon was used.

The puzzle (GADGET) cache is in the Teens sitting area of the library and with the following information you will be playing a game of CLUE. In the game of Clue there are cards that represent the suspects, the weapons and the rooms. Each group of cards is shuffled and then one card is removed from each pile without looking and placed in a secret envelope which is included inside the container. The remaining cards are dealt to each player. Each player takes a detective notepad and marks off the information obtained from the other players. Your cards and notepad are displayed in the game box. With these cards and the information on your notepad, you have narrowed the suspect, the weapon and the room. Move the required game pieces to the correct room to reveal the correct answer and open the hidden compartment, sign the log and finish the game.

Once completed, please replace game pieces in their original spot and re-lock.
