Located in Alger County, Au Train is a set of two drops on the Au Train River – the Upper and Lower falls. It is conveniently located right off the highway between Munising and Laughing Whitefish Falls for easy viewing. The Upper Falls has a drop of about 40 feet, and the Lower Falls is 10 feet. In the winter, look forward to seeing impressive ice formations, frozen cascades, icicles, and partially frozen water for some beautiful winter photography.
