The Come Out and Play – Oromocto geocoin challenge is being launched at this event.  To claim a coin participants must complete the 5 location Come Out and Play – OROMOCTO  Adventure Lab, find the associated Bonus physical geocache, and find 5 physical geocaches which are being published at 11:00 am on January 31st.  You can download the passport here.  Due to circumstances beyond our control the coin is not expected to be available until sometime in March but rest assured that CRAG will see to it that all claimants will receive their coins.

WHY:  It's FROSTival & Time to "Come Out And Play"

The members of Capital Region Association of Geocachers ( CRAG) believe that geocaching is fun for everyone so let's take this opportunity to show everyone how fun-loving we are.  This FROSTival event is being promoted to the public as an opportunity to learn about geocaching and then go out and find some caches with the assistance of an experienced geocacher. If you are willing to help in that capacity, please say so in your Will Attend log. There are several easy to find traditional caches and Adventure Labs within easy walking distance of the centre. We will have a couple of draw prizes and hot chocolate. If the weather is brutally cold or otherwise miserable you are welcome to stay at the Centre and socialize.

The timetable will be something like the following:

1:00  A short Introduction to Geocaching power point presentation and time to help muggles load the free geocaching app.

1:30 - 2:45 Find some geocaches and/or partake in geo-chat, activities in the lodge

2:45 - Prize draws

3:00 - Event ends for the public.

This is a great opportunity to bring Muggle friends with you and,  if you do, you'll get an extra ballot for the draw prizes.  Cache on!
