This series of caches will let you explore different woodlands in the Brathens Area. Caches E to L are in section 2. This woodland was affected by Storm Arwen on 26 November 2021 and the fallen trees from then are still very evident. The terrain consists of a good forest road as well as fairly narrow and muddy footpaths. All caches are within 10 metres or so of the track or paths.
There is no need to climb over fallen trees, there is a route round them.
A bus service from Banchory to Torphins (Stagecoach Service 202) runs along the road past the two parking spots.

The caches are placed on Forestry and Land Scotland woodlands in accordance with their guidelines and you should follow any warning or information signs that are displayed.
