高雄流行音樂中心
高雄流行音樂中心位於高雄港 11 至 15 號碼頭的亞洲新灣區，是南臺灣重要的流行音樂與文化地標。它融合了流行音樂表演場館、展演設施、商業空間與港灣景觀，成為充滿活力的文化娛樂園區。整體設計以海洋意象為主題，由西班牙與臺灣建築團隊共同創作，不僅成為城市的新地標，也象徵高雄從港都向國際文化城市的蛻變。
園區的主要區域包括由波浪形外觀構成的音浪塔、可容納大型活動的室內場館與戶外廣場、以鯨魚造型串聯的多功能展演空間、珊瑚礁風格的商業區，以及延伸至海邊的海豚步道等多功能空間。這些建築不僅提供大型演唱會、音樂節等表演活動，也為市民與遊客提供休閒觀光、散步與休憩的場所。
此外，高雄流行音樂中心亦致力於音樂人才培育與產業發展，透過演出、展覽與教育活動，連結流行音樂文化與社區生活，豐富高雄的文化創意與海港觀光資源。
Kaohsiung Music Center
The Kaohsiung Music Center is located at Pier 11–15 in Kaohsiung’s Asia New Bay Area and serves as a major landmark for pop music and culture in southern Taiwan. The center combines performance venues, exhibition spaces, commercial areas, and waterfront scenery into a vibrant cultural and entertainment complex. Its architectural design—featuring ocean-inspired forms—resulted from collaboration between Spanish and Taiwanese design teams, creating a striking new symbol for the city and reflecting Kaohsiung’s evolution into an international cultural hub.
The complex includes the visually iconic Wave Tower, indoor and outdoor performance halls capable of hosting large-scale events, a series of exhibition spaces shaped like whales, a coral reef–themed commercial zone, and the sea-facing Dolphin Walk. These versatile areas support concerts, festivals, exhibitions, and leisure activities, while also offering scenic spaces for strolling and relaxation along the harbor.
Beyond entertainment, the Kaohsiung Music Center also focuses on fostering local music talent and industry development. Through performances, exhibitions, and educational programs, it connects popular music culture with community life, enhancing both cultural creativity and waterfront tourism in Kaohsiung.
