The third Monday of January has been awarded the gloomy title of Blue Monday due to a combination of post-Christmas blues, cold dark nights and the arrival of unpaid credit card bills. This event is being held the day after...let's see if you are starting to feel a tad happier.
It's the only pub in in Winterley now as the Holly Bush closed down a few years ago.

Nick, the new landlord, is working quite hard to get this place back to being an asset for the local community.
He's putting on different events and food...so I asked him about holding another geocaching get together...and he was dead keen to accommodate us all again.
We've got an area reserved just for us.
It's a proper old skool pub so we've got a roaring open fire, cold toilets and a fruit machine; plus there's darts, poker and lots of other stuff to amuse yourself with if you need it.
I've booked the Little Green Kitchen to feed us as they regularly cater at this venue and they know the score.
The venue is very dog friendly!
All cachers are welcome to come along.
