Frozen Waterfalls - Schweiter Falls
Located in Marquette County in the Upper Peninsula near Palmer, Schweitzer Falls is a two-tiered waterfall dropping about 20 feet in total. The second tier is higher and steeper than the first. It is accessible by a short, unmarked, off-the-beaten-path hike. During the winter, like many Michigan waterfalls, it can become frozen over, creating a scenic icy display.
