Welcome to 2026! Let's start the year OUTSIDE!
We're less than a month away from 2026 and you can start the new year off right with a hike and clean up at Brown's Woods. The hike and CITO will start from the main parking area, and follow trails through the woods. We'll collect trash as we walk and enjoy the scenery for this first day of 2026. There will likely be some new caches to find along the route as we walk and clean up the park.
Dress for the weather! We'll be there rain, sleet, sun, or snow, (within reason of course!). Trails may be wet or snow covered, so appropriate footwear would be a must. Since we're cleaning as we go, feel free to bring any gloves or grabbers that you like for picking things up. Trash bags will be provided. Bring your own drink to tote around with you, but light snacks will be provided at the start and end times.
