Welcome to another cache in our Welcome To Series..... Mission’s latest “food court.”
Back in the day, food courts were something you only found at the mall. These days, they’ve branched out—you’ll spot them in strip malls too. Whatever you’re craving, it’s likely close at hand: fried chicken, Japanese, Greek, or maybe a classic burger and fries to go with your latte.
What most people don’t know is that this site was once home to the Mission Rod and Gun Club. My parents were members, and I remember going to the club to practice skeet shooting and attend parties. The highlight of the year was the all-games banquet—not games played for fun or sport, but a wild game feast. Despite all that food, I remember leaving hungry!
In 1984, one acre of the property was sold to the Department of Highways for highway widening. The remaining land was sold in 1987, and the club relocated to its current location on Dewdney Trunk Road near Red Mountain and Mill Pond.

This is a quick and easy park-and-grab located in a pleasant area of the mall. Please use stealth and replace as found. This could be a busy area depending on the time of day.
Congratulations to the FTF Group that followed our CCE.
