Geocache Description:


To celebrate Geocaching Village Hall Week
16th – 22nd March 2026

Sunday 22nd March 2026
1.30pm - 3.00pm
Denmead Memorial Hall, PO7 6PW

This Village Hall Week Community Celebration event will be held in Denmead War Memorial Hall which is where the first geocache was placed for the Village Hall Series in 2013.

We are inside the hall so there is no need to worry about the weather. I will bring along cake and provide hot drinks but if you would like to donate extra cake it will be very welcome. A donation tin will be available to help cover the cost of hire of the hall and refreshments.

Trade Stalls
The GAGB shop - where you can purchase geocaching merchandise, caches, geocoins etc.
The East Anglia Mega - with a stall to raise funds and information about the Mega in August 2026
If any other traders would like a free stall please let me know.

Tombola
There will a geocaching tombola with Village Hall merchandise and other geocaching prizes.

Village Hall Bingo
There will a village hall themed bingo game (starting around 2pm) with a twist on the usual numbers replaced with cache owner names.

Adventure Labs
There will be a set of 5 adventure lab caches released during the event.

Parking
There is parking at the hall. The previous narrow entrance has been made wider, but it now has a 2m height barrier.
There is also a free public carpark on the corner of Kidmore lane - see waypoints.
