🌱 Wabash Cannonball Trail CITO Event 🌱

Join us for a family-friendly, pet-friendly, everyone-friendly Cache In, Trash Out (CITO) event as we give back to the Wauseon community! Please plan to be outdoors as we work together to help clean up the Wabash Cannonball Trail and surrounding areas.
The official event begins at 1:30 PM, but feel free to start early or stay late if your schedule allows. We’ll gather in the parking lot to say hello, grab supplies, and divide into groups before heading out to tackle different sections of the trail and nearby parking areas.
You’re welcome to walk, bike, or explore the local area while collecting litter. Trash bags will be provided at the posted coordinates—just stop by, pick up your supplies, and head out to lend a helping hand. Terrain varies from flat, paved surfaces to ditches and gentle rolling hills, so you can choose an area that best matches your comfort and abilities.
As a bonus, there are geocaches along the trail you can find while you’re out making a difference!
Collected trash will be returned to the fairgrounds for proper disposal. If you’re able to stay at the end of the event and help transport trash back to the fairgrounds, it would be greatly appreciated.
