O que é o GPS Adventures Maze?
 

GPS Adventures Maze é uma exposição educativa em forma de labirinto onde miúdos e graúdos são convidados a descobrir, passo a passo, a história, o funcionamento e as curiosidades da tecnologia GPS e do Geocaching. Ao longo de vários espaços temáticos, os visitantes exploram um percurso repleto de painéis informativos e desafios que explicam como tudo começou e como evoluiu ao longo do tempo.

Que tipos de caches existem? Qual é a cache com mais favoritos do mundo? Quais os cuidados a ter ao esconder uma cache? Qual é a geocache ativa mais antiga de Portugal? O que são os trackables? E as GeoTours? Vem descobrir todas estas respostas no GPS Maze Portugal!

Este tipo de geocache é extremamente raro e pela primeira vez em mais de 25 anos de Geocaching está em Portugal. Trata-se de um esforço conjunto entre o Geocaching HQ, os geocachers do CITO_PT (FabioSaGeo, Gonçalofrocha, MarcoeMari, Pedro_Pinto, Jola_Team_) e a Lipor.

O que esperar do Maze Portugal
 

A entrada será gratuita e acessível a todas as pessoas, incluindo visitantes com mobilidade reduzida. A experiência faz-se por ordem de chegada e, caso o espaço atinja a sua capacidade máxima, bastará aguardar pela vez de entrar. A visita completa demora cerca de uma hora e por isso a fila de espera poderá ser longa.
 

Prepara-te também para desafios interativos. Além dos painéis informativos teremos exposições de Geocaches, Geocoins e muito mais. Aventura-te pelos corredores, salas e pisos do edifício à procura de pistas para completar as 10 labcaches que iremos ter ao longo da jornada. Serás capaz de sair do labirinto?

Não te preocupes, todo o material necessário para completar os desafios será dado pela organização e se encontrares alguma dificuldade os membros do STAFF estarão sempre disponíveis para te orientar. Eles acompanhar-te-ão ao longo do percurso, garantindo que aproveitas tudo ao máximo.

O Maze Portugal estará aberto durante o fim-de-semana dedicado ao Mega-Evento CacheInPorto (GCBEKKA).

What is the GPS Adventures Maze?
 

GPS Adventures Maze is an educational exhibition designed as a maze where children and adults are invited to discover, step by step, the history, workings, and curiosities of GPS technology and Geocaching. Throughout various themed areas, visitors explore a path filled with informative panels and challenges that explain how it all started and how it has evolved over time.

What types of caches exist? Which cache has the most favorites in the world? What precautions should be taken when hiding a cache? Which is the oldest active geocache in Portugal? What are trackables? And GeoTours? Come and discover all these answers at GPS Maze Portugal!

This type of geocache is extremely rare and for the first time in over 25 years of Geocaching, it is in Portugal. It is a joint effort between Geocaching HQ, the geocachers of CITO_PT (FabioSaGeo, Gonçalofrocha, MarcoeMari, Pedro_Pinto, Jola_Team_), and Lipor.

What to expect from Maze Portugal
 

Entrance will be free and accessible to everyone, including visitors with reduced mobility. The experience is on a first-come, first-served basis, and if the space reaches its maximum capacity, you will just need to wait for your turn. The full visit takes about an hour, so the waiting line may be long.
 

Get ready for interactive challenges as well. In addition to the informative panels, there will be exhibitions of Geocaches, Geocoins, and much more. Explore the corridors, rooms, and floors of the building in search of clues to complete the 10 labcaches that will be available throughout the journey. Will you be able to exit the maze?

Don't worry, all the necessary materials to complete the challenges will be provided by the organization, and if you encounter any difficulties, the STAFF members will always be available to guide you. They will accompany you throughout the journey, ensuring you get the most out of it.

The Maze Portugal will be open during the weekend dedicated to the Mega-Event CacheInPorto (GCBEKKA).
