Heading out to the cache is not mandatory. Event goes for half an hour. 6PM to 630PM
It will be a 2-mile hike in the dark. Some walking on a wood road, some bushwhack.
Things you might bring - gloves, hat, snow pants, walking stick, snowshoes, spikes, whistle, water, snacks, First aid kit, GPS, phone, flashlights, head lamp, extra batteries, Flares, fire starter. (Oxygen and Sherper, optional)
