Alsume’s forty-fourth cache replaces the second of a series of six caches placed along the Moonee Ponds Creek Trail. This series of caches starts in Strathmore and finishes near Roxburgh Park. There is also a bonus cache for those who complete the series of six caches. There are clues for the coordinates of the bonus cache in each of six caches. The series is designed to be done by bike, although some, but not all, of the caches are accessible from nearby streets without too long a walk. The length of the ride from MPCT #1 to MPCT # 6 is approximately 12km each way. The original cache was a multi but the sculpture with the clues to the coordinates was damaged and then removed, so to keep the series and Bonus Cache alive I have replaced it with a traditional.
The cache is a small cylindrical container suitable for small swaps only. There is no pen so please bring your own.
