Geocache Description:

Greetings, intrepid seeker of carefully concealed containers! You find yourself at the very precipice of a new year, a time when the calendar, in its infinite wisdom, sheds its skin like a magnificent, paper-based reptile. It is a season for profound reflection, for contemplating the grand tapestry of the last twelve months, and for making a series of ambitious, well-intentioned promises to oneself that will likely be abandoned by the third week of January.

In the spirit of such momentary self-improvement, this humble cache has been placed. It serves as a monument to the noble act of pausing. As you navigate the storied pavement of County Road 373, direct your attention to the southern embankment. Here, society has installed a silent, stoic teacher—a yellow, four-ided paragon of virtue that offers a single, non-negotiable piece of advice, 365 days a year.

It merely suggests a reduction in velocity & warns of an impending curve;  its wisdom simple. watch where you're driving, under the watchful gaze of this unwavering sentinel of safety. Let us pause to consider our path, both on this road and in the year to come.

Do not accost the metallic sage itself; its duty is to guide travelers, not to conceal treasure. You may want to contemplate its profound, cautionary message from a short distance. The small cache you seek has taken shelter, at GZ hoping to be found before the last of the confetti falls.

Please log your visit, perhaps noting a particularly amusing failed resolution from the year past, and return this humble vessel to its resting place with the stealth of a partygoer sneaking out before it's their turn to help clean up.

May your GPSr always be true, and may your New Year be filled with many joyous finds
