Welcome to the Chemainus Views series! A small series of geocaches featuring some nice views from this mural-loving Vancouver Island town.

Since I frequent Vancouver Island a lot, I figured I would hide a few caches in some of the places I am visit the most. My mum and aunt live here, and it was always a place I look forward to coming back to. From it's early days as a rugged logging town, to becoming a mural super-power, Chemainus is a town with a lot of charm.
Please note that this beach access is open from dawn to dusk.
Looking north from this geocache, you can see Thetis and Penelakut islands. You may even spot a ferry going to, or from there. There is also a nice creek that goes into the Salish sea from here.
The tide was fine when I hid this cache, but if it's really high, you might need boots of some sort.
Just a simple cache in a predictable spot. Please place it back exactly as you found it.
