This Meet & Greet Event will take place at a picnic table near the carpark at Whispering Pines Park at 08:30-09:30.

I'm coming to Florida for a week of birding and geocaching, focused on seeing Florida Scrub-jay, Snail Kite, Bachman's Sparrow and a few other birds I haven't seen on my five previous trips to the USA, and also picking up 3 Webcam Caches (they are as rare as hens' teeth in Britain) and various other fun DT geocaches. I figured it would be nice to meet some local Florida/Snowbird cachers while I'm in the state, chat about caching, and swap some Trackables. I did the same thing on my trip to Texas last January (GCB19MX) and had such a great time!
The venue in Whispering Pines Park, Inverness was chosen because it is close to where I am staying and because there's another Event here a few days later. The CO of that Event was extremely helpful when I asked him about the park - Thankyou! I hope that the 08:30-09:30 timing might also tie in well with some local cachers' weekend plans: start the day with an Event and then look for more caches during the day.
