Welcome to the Renegade Library! My library has all sorts of books, from non-fiction to fiction, from comics to entire novels. Because of this, the library is a popular spot for some very interesting people people of all kinds. Since so many strange people visit there are always crazy new stories to tell. This cache series highlights some of the weird, insane, and incredibly stupid fun stories I have as a librarian for the Renegade Library.

Happy New Year! Around this time of year, students begin taking their schoolwork seriously and start studying up. As most libraries do, our library has a study room. It has noise proof walls, and is a good place for student's to work on homework. Right before the beginning of Winter Break, some students - ninth graders, stroll into the building with backpacks. They politely asked to use the study room. As the room was empty, I let them in. Back at my desk, I continued reading through the latest Rick Riordan book, and the library was peaceful.
After about an hour, the door to the study room bursts open, and out runs a kid. At top speed, he runs out the building door. A few moments later, the rest of his buddies jog out with their bags. Intrigued, I head to the study room. It seems as though the kid left his stuff inside. A lab kit, a laptop, a binder, and a school ID lay on the table. Despite my suspicion that something quite strange was going on in here, I need to figure out the kid's name to return his stuff. The ID only provides me his first name: Mark. How does that help me?!? There are hundreds of Mark's all over the county! The laptop offers no advice. I flip through the binder: seems that they didn't even do any work this whole time. How can I figure out this kid's name!?!
