Willie Ward City Park is a pleasant spot in our neighborhood that is relatively unknown to most people visiting Key West. Just a few blocks from the famous Southernmost Point buoy, this pocket park has a number of shade trees, benches, and even a gazebo with a picnic table. It's adjacent to the community pool in a nice little part of Bahama Village. You can enter the park from two directions - Catherine Street or Louisa Street. You are searching for a very small nano cache. Park hours are 7am to 11pm.
NOTE: We first placed a cache here in the park back in 2018, but it was often reported that the park was closed, even when it was supposed to be open. As well, it seemed to go missing quite often so we eventually archived this one. This time, we have placed the cache in a spot where it can be retrieved even if the park is closed. Hope this works better than last time!
