Welcome to the GbreadFam's First Hide! Our family put this cache together after our kids received Geocaching supplies from Santa for Xmas 2025. This spot is somewhat special to our family as we have been here for dog walks, summer dips in the river, and even Mother's Day picnics. There are other trails to hike from the Mullinix Mill parking lot(Split Rock Trail and Scott Branch Loop) but you will want to take the unnamed trail that follows closest to the river. It starts near the information sign, by the guard rail. After folowing the trail for a little while, you'll probably need to leave the trail and walk a small rocky beach to see the cache. You may even need to get your feet a little wet if the water level is high.
You are looking for a small Lock-N-Lock container that containes a log book, pencil, FTF coin and some kid friendly trinkets. Please only take one Gbreadman(you're welcome to even if you don't leave anything) and message us if the bag is down to 2-3 so we can replace. The container can probably hold a few trackables depending on size. Please replace everything as you found it. We'd love feedback on the D/T ratings since this is our first hide!
