A replacement for the original fourth cache in a series to remember the regular walks we did, and new area we discovered during the various covid lockdowns. The first part of our walking route - from Exeter Quay to Bridge Road - is well covered with caches, so this series focuses on the 2nd half of our circuit and the new wildlife area we found.
The original fourth cache went missing a number of times - lost in water or dense summer overgrowth - so I have placed this new version slightly further along the path with new coordinates and off the ground. GPS can be a bit hit and miss, but it is on the path side of the water and you do need to enter or cross the water to find it. Even with the new location it may get overgrown and harder to fnd in spring and summer.
Wheelchairs, pushchairs and bikes can easily get to within 4/5 metres but the final section is not accessible and also not advised for young children given how near the water it is.
