We chose Hollinshead Park for this cache because the park has a community garden, and Nan loved her garden! We also spent many hours here walking the dogs and with the kids quietly(?) looking for the owls that live in the park.
Hollinshead Park offers a grassy off leash dog area and an old historic barn. Up the hill to the east, you will find trails and open spaces where kids can explore and roam.
A quick note of caution for seekers with kids, this is an off leash area and not all dog poo gets picked up. Please watch your step in places and check your shoes before heading back to the car or house.
The container has some 'treasures' to trade.
