Prepare yourselves, geocachers, for a devilishly difficult series of Challenge Caches designed to test your skills and perseverance!
This series, 'The Devil's Dozen', celebrates the 'The Tassie Event', held in Sorell, Tasmania on 7-8 March 2026.
To conquer 'The Devil's Dozen', you'll need to successfully meet the requirements of thirteen unique and demanding challenges. Will you earn the right to sign the logs and claim these sought-after finds? Get caching, check your stats, and prepare to face the devil!
Challenge #8: The Pentathlon Powerhouse
This is a challenge cache, and the physical cache is at the posted coordinates.
Are you a "one-trick pony," or do you have the range to master every corner of the geocaching world?
To claim a find on this stage of the Devil's Dozen, you must prove that you aren't just a specialist in one area, but a well-rounded athlete across multiple disciplines. We are celebrating the cachers who have demonstrated deep experience across five distinct styles of play.
The Challenge
To qualify for this challenge, you must have found at least 100 geocaches in each of five different geocache types.

The Rule of Five: You choose the types! Whether it's the standard Traditionals, tricky Mysteries, multi-stage adventures, educational EarthCaches, or social Events—as long as five different categories each have 100+ finds, you qualify.

Master of Many: This challenge proves you have the skills to solve puzzles, navigate multi-stages, understand geological wonders, and participate in the community with equal proficiency.
You are welcome to visit the cache and sign the logbook at any time, but you may only log the find online once you have reached the "100 x 5" milestone.
To claim a find you must meet the requirements of the Challenge:

If you sign the logbook and meet the requirements, log a 'Found It' log.

If you sign the logbook and do NOT meet the requirements, log a 'Write Note' and change this to a 'Found It' once you quality for the challenge.
